Forum Summary
Teams from 11 SEAs in the Mid-Atlantic and Appalachia regions and beyond gathered in Arlington, VA, to consider the research, policies, practices and resources that can help them move forward to address their state's school and student needs.
The Forum, sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center (MACC) and the Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center (ARCC), served as the starting point for a conversation about the accountability requirements of No Child Left Behind as it applies to Restructuring Schools and Corrective Action Districts, providing opportunities to share state experiences, insights, struggles and successes. Forum sessions ranged from an assessment of needs in the region to school and district review processes and frameworks. Full Summary of Forum
