New Jersey Department of Education provides three levels of support to schools and districts in improvement status.
- NJDOE provides general guidance concerning the requirements of NCLB for schools and districts. The guidance is often provided in the form of presentations at state and regional meetings.
- NJDOE also provides schools and districts with assistance in improvement planning through three regional offices.
- NJDOE uses Highly Skilled Professionals to provide support to high need schools and districts at advanced levels of school improvement status.
