The New Jersey Title I Department is continually refining its accountability system for districts and schools. NJDOE is also developing a statewide Quality Single Accountability Continuum (NJ QSAC) that will assess districts' practice in five key areas and provide technical assistance that is aligned to districts' needs.

New Jersey's Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives (AMAO) Targets
New Jersey has created Language Proficiency Standards for English Language Learners to meet NCLB's Title III requirement of the creation of AMAOs. Note: The Language Proficiency Standards for ELLs are organized into two grade levels: K-4 and 5-12.
