Delaware Assessments
The Delaware Student Assessment Program measures progress towards state standards. The results are used to promote better instruction and to provide information regarding whom should be promoted from grade to grade. In order to graduate, students must demonstrate a certain level of proficiency through this program. Students are tested in reading, writing, and mathematics in grades 3, 5, 8, and 10. Science and social studies assessments are administered in grades 4, 6, 8, and 11.
Delaware Curricula
Delaware provides curriculum frameworks to guide school districts as they write their own curricula in the core subjects of English, mathematics, science, and social studies (listed above).
